{"id":754,"date":"2016-02-21T16:44:01","date_gmt":"2016-02-21T15:44:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.disegnidisabbia.com\/nadia-ischia-sand-artist\/"},"modified":"2022-11-03T15:26:02","modified_gmt":"2022-11-03T14:26:02","slug":"nadia-ischia-sand-artist-sand-drawings","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.disegnidisabbia.com\/en\/nadia-ischia-sand-artist-sand-drawings\/","title":{"rendered":"Nadia Ischia"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row full_width=&#8221;lab-full-width&#8221;][vc_column][vc_single_image image=&#8221;91&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=&#8221;chi-sono-page-row&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h1>My name is Nadia Ischia<\/h1>\n<p>I was born and I grew up in Trentino, on the shores of Lake Garda, a wonderful place where I enjoy spending my summers.<\/p>\n<p>My second home has been Bologna where I took my degree in Pedagogy and where I attended a course in publishing for children\u2019s book at Accademia Drosselmeier.<\/p>\n<p>My interest for art and children\u2019s books led me learn etching, pictorial restoration, and illustrations for books (course by Octavia Monaco, Bologna in 2014; Accademia Pictor, Torino in 2017).<\/p>\n<div class=\"evidenzia\">Since 2011 i have been realizing sand performances, videos, workshops using what is called sand animation or sand art.<\/div>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]Sand animation is a very complex art tecnique. Most of us are self-taught animators. This is the reason why sand animation is strictly connected to each animator\u2019s personality, soul and imagination.<\/p>\n<p>I started being a sand animator in 2011. Since then I have started my \u201cresearch\u201d in this filed and throughout the years I have been experimenting different types of surfaces, sands and effects.<\/p>\n<div class=\"evidenzia\">With this technique, i realize customised performances, videos, workshops and shows for children and adults.<\/div>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Thanks to sand animation, I have collaborated with different organizations such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/corsi.unibo.it\/2cycle\/AerospaceEngineering\/Events\/2016\/09\/european-researchers-night.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">European Researchers Night &#8211;
